| aluminum? Supposedly a plus for polycarb is that it won't fuse to the rotor flange like raw aluminum will. However, I had a tire dealer pick up a polycarb set for me. They looked flimsy and after taking them out of the bag, I found a ring that was already broken. I'm skeptical of polycarbonate being up to the stresses of wheel installation and load carrying prior to lug nut tightening, especially over time with repeated wheel installation/removal. Afterall, the walls of these rings are going to be only just over 3mm thick on a set that is 73/66 OD/ID. Anybody out there with experience with the polycarb or alu rings that indicates which is good or better?
